Andy graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, in 1975.  He decided to stay in Ann Arbor and represent individuals, not companies.  He started in practice with Ken Bronson and Ron Egnor and established his own firm in 1987.

Andy focuses on serious personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Over the course of thirty-four years of practice he has tried hundreds of jury trial cases and settled many more on favorable terms. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and Ohio.

He has handled cases for clients who have been seriously injured or killed by: negligent safety inspections, negligent operation of automobiles and semi-trucks, fires caused by electrical equipment, amputations by hand-held power tools and punch presses, quadriplegia caused by diving in to pools and from diving boards, motor vehicle fires, improper traffic control devices, highway design negligence, construction site accidents including those caused by cement pumpers, cranes, dump trucks, and backhoes.

Andy has successfully concluded medical malpractice cases for clients who have been injured or died as a result of negligent medical treatment by doctors with the following medical specialties: infectious diseases, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, family practice, radiology, pulmonary medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, pharmacy, nursing, cardiology, oncology and neurology.
